Thank you for participating in the Kaiser Permanente Research Bank.

I hope this newsletter finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy.  With your help, we’re continuing to build a resource that will help improve the health of future generations.  In this edition of the newsletter, we’re sharing KP Research Bank updates that are possible because of your decision to participate.

Last year marked the 75th anniversary of Kaiser Permanente, with its humble beginnings in the Mojave Desert and the World War II shipyards in Richmond California.

This timeline includes dozens of highlights from Kaiser Permanente’s history – and we’re delighted to tell you that the founding of the KP Research Bank is one of the highlights.  Thank you for being part of this historic endeavor!

In this newsletter, you can read about:

  • Recently approved research projects that will use information from our Research Bank
  • Ways in which the Research Bank is working to improve diversity and inclusion
  • How a nationally funded study is using our Research Bank to improve children’s health

Thank you again for being a part of the KP Research Bank. We look forward to a safe, productive, and healthy 2021.  Be well and stay safe.
